Ordinance 162
The No Wake Zones on the Sauk River Chain of Lakes are documented in Ordinance 162, and specified in Section 3. UNLAWFUL CONDUCT:
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a watercraft at greater then Slow - No Wake speed on the following bodies of water located in Stearns County, Minnesota:
On the channels of the Horseshoe Chain of Lakes (including Horseshoe Lake, Long Lake, Cedar Island Lake, Koetter Lake, Zumwalde Lake, Great Northern Lake and Schneider Lake), as specified in the detailed maps.

Slow no-wake definition as defined by Minnesota State Statute 6110.1200: "Slow-no wake," means the operation of a watercraft at the slowest possible speed necessary to maintain steerage, and in no case greater than five miles per hour.
